BMC Classic Marx US Howitzers - OD Green 3pc Plastic Army Men Field Artillery

From the CLASSIC ARMY MEN COLLECTOR SERIES, BMC Toys brings back another toy from the Golden Age of Plastic Army Men. This field artillery set includes 3 Long-barrel Howitzers. Each gun measures 7.25 x 2.25 x 2.8 inches tall and has a a lot of detail with a little bit of flashing. Made from OD Green color stiff HIPS plastic and feature rolling wheels. These Plastic Army Men accessories were first produced in 1958 by LOUIS MARX AND COMPANY for their legendary Battleground Military Playsets and were included in numerous sets spanning many years. The original version was spring loaded and was changed to a non-firing version later on to comply with safety laws. The axle was also changed at some point from a single metal axle to integrated plastic axles. These are some of the most iconic plastic army men accessories of all time, and this new production is manufactured using the original PL-934 mold. This is a set of real American Made plastic toys, meant to be set up, knocked over, picked up, and played with for many years to come. Packed in polybag bag with insert card and recommended for ages 5 and up.
