Introducing a classic microphone drawing upon aesthetics of the 1950's and 1960's RCA microphones but with all the modern premium components you have come to expect from Heil. Introducing the PR-77D, a large-diaphragm microphone that has been designed to provide focused directionality, full-range response and a real vintage look. The PR-77D can be used in podcasts, broadcasts, and studio recording applications. It features a classic side-address design, and the cardioid polar pattern delivers 40dB of 180 degrees off-0axis rear rejection, resulting in a tight pickup area and minimized bleed. The PR-77D has a two-position switch that can allow the user to select optimal response frequency characteristics between Voice and Music applications. The Voice position rolls the audio off at 120Hz at -6dB per octave, whereas the Music position removes the filter and uses the entire audio spectrum of 60Hz to 15Hz. This microphone has the standard 5/8' - 27 microphone stand threads, allowing the PR-77D to be mounted directly to booms and/or bases.
