This specially formulated blend includes: Leca (60%) Coconut chips (20%) Orchiata Bark (10%) Fir Bark (10%) The open mix ensures proper air flow around orchid roots, while maintaining ideal humidity levels in the pot. The coconut chips absorb water and provide just enough humidity without causing the roots to remain wet. The Pinus Radiata Bark (Orchiata) and Fir Bark offer a natural substrate for orchids to grow on. Orchiata bark is stronger and harder than regular bark, and is coated with Dolomite, a natural mineral containing calcium and magnesium. This coating helps support recently repotted orchids and prevents salt accumulation. Our 12-month slow-release fertilizer contains essential nutrients and microelements, encapsulated within multiple layers of polymeric resin. This design allows for continuous, gradual release of fertilizer, ensuring optimal nutrient supply without burning the roots. The fertilizer is suitable for all orchids. To use our Premium Orchid Mix, simply pot your orchids and add 10 to 15 pebbles of slow-release fertilizer to the top of the medium, evenly distributed.
