This mural was a cooperative effort by members of local equine groups, launched with a donation from the San Vicente Saddle Club.
It represents the four main equine disciplines practiced in the Ramona area: Rodeo, Trail Riding, Cross Country and Dressage.
According to a 2007 survey conducted by the Ramona Equine Industry Network (REIN), approximately 17% of residents own at least one horse and usually several.
Other sources claim Ramona has more horses per capita than any other community west of the Mississippi!
Artist, Linda Churchill
