The Sheriff Tribute mural honors Leonard Walker, Ramona’s first Sheriff. The artist wanted to show the newness of the iconic Ramona Town Hall and Ramona Mainstage buildings in color, with a black and white re-creation of a photo of Walker standing next to his patrol car in the foreground.

Artist Miles Gunnett, a third-generation Ramona native, has been painting all his life. He is a freelance artist specializing in customized automobile painting/graphics and large-scale murals. He is always open to challenges and new projects and was recently employed by Concordia University Irvine to complete several mural projects for them.
